Not long ago, I saw a lot of pictures of stone decoration from my circle of friends. I was amazed at the richness and variety of beauty created by stone decoration. Or charming, or charming, or simple, or simple, or rough, which have different effects on my mood. The author's mood also fluctuates with the architectural beauty created by stone, and also causes the author's thinking about the beauty of stone? How to evaluate the beauty of stone? Natural, simple and lively? Or are the flowers beautiful, colorful and amazing? For a long time, there has been no absolute and clear standard for the beauty of stone. This is a problem of "benevolent people see benevolence and wise people see". What a thinks beautiful is ugly from B's point of view; What B thinks is beautiful is flashy and not beautiful in a's eyes. For the beauty of things, there are various evaluation standards and criteria, which are suitable for people. But this is clear. Whether beautiful things can make our mood happy and make our hearts produce a passion and feeling, and this passion and feeling makes our hearts very calm and comfortable, just like hearing a soothing and elegant music. If the beauty of buildings created by stone leaves this basic principle, the author thinks it will not be beautiful.

This paper expounds how to understand the beauty of stone through several groups of pictures.

Looking at the effect of this building in Figure 1, it is gorgeous and magnificent. The green stone (the picture is post processed, but there is no such delicate green stone) and the golden decorative frame highlight the radiant light everywhere.

Figure 2 shows the hotel decorated with jade and semi precious stones, with a large area of unrestrained texture and a variety of stone combinations, which indeed achieve the luxurious decorative effect of gorgeous and competing for beauty. However, the author believes that this is not beauty, but the effect produced by the stacking and superposition of material colors. It is just as flashy as the gorgeous articles are stacked with words without substantive content.

When I saw the decoration effect of a hotel in Figure 3, the mixture of red, black, gold and golden yellow dazzled my mind. My eyes were as hot as stimulated by laser. The decoration effect was dazzling and colorful, but my psychology did not seem to have been enjoyed. The effect of decoration was too "flower" and "dazzle".

Please look at Figure 4. Although the tone of the whole hall is very single, there are only two colors: white stairs, white columns and light wood grain ground. The two colors are balanced, coordinated and set off each other. There is no dispute between the host and the guest. The author feels calm, peaceful and happy. He is extremely comfortable in his heart, like the spring breeze. Compared with the feelings brought by the first three pictures, the author more accepts the decorative effect of Figure 4.
Figure 5 black and white are well matched, but due to the strong contrast between the two colors, the visual impact does not bring beauty, perhaps the pain of the eyes. If it is matched with light beige or light gray stones, the contrast intensity will be reduced, and the effect may be better.
